Valles del Desierto Highway

After these years of operation, this P3 has considerably elevated the standards of road safety along the 221 kilometers of Ruta 5. This is due to the fact that its infrastructure has allowed to reduce both accident and mortality rates compared to those registered in the area before its construction. But the benefits don’t stop there. The project has contributed to further the development of Atacama—primarily known for marine, industrial, agricultural and touristic transportation—, enhancing the region's sources of competitiveness.

Furthermore, through our specialized division Sacyr Maintenance and its subsidiary SAOPSE, we take care of the totality of the conservation, operation, and maintenance of the road in order to guarantee the best customer service and implement the best safety and modernization criteria.
