The New Ontario Science Centre, in Toronto, will become a driver of transformation for the Ontario Place area. We will be responsible for the design, construction, financing and maintenance for 30 years. In addition, the project includes the rehabilitation of emblematic elements such as the Cinesphere and the Pods.
With a total surface area of 34,900 m², the project has been conceived under demanding sustainability criteria. Achieving LEED Silver certification, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and optimizing energy performance reflect our commitment to environmentally responsible development
The building’s singular architecture, combined with its strategic lakeside location, will create a new urban icon set to become one of Canada’s main touristic attractions. This space will attract students, families and visitors from all over the world, boosting social and economic activity in the area.
With the new Ontario Science Centre, we contribute to the revitalization of Ontario Place and strengthen our position in the development of internationally recognized cultural infrastructure.
