Las Setas: much more than an infrastructure project

One of our most emblematic P3 assets is ‘Las Setas de Sevilla”, the world's largest wooden structure which offers a unique panoramic view.

Sacyr Concesiones

Built and managed by Sacyr, we are proud to have set in motion a tourism asset that, only ten years after its inauguration, has become the third most visited monument in the city.

In addition to its impressive design, ‘Las Setas de Sevilla’ has brought a solution to a complex technical challenge that allowed us to vertebrate a pioneer urban space in the heart of the city which is respectful to the existing urban surroundings.

‘Las Setas de Sevilla’ is right at the center of the historic district and offers visitors a wide range of options:

Antiquarium: at the underground floor is the Antiquarium, the largest roman archeological site in Sevilla.

Wide gastronomic offer: at street level, relocated to its original position, is the first Sevillan market, the historic ‘Mercado de la Encarnación’, one of the most remarkable places in the city today, with a wide gastronomic offer.

A meeting point: at 5 meters high above the market, the ‘Plaza Mayor’ is an open square with a children’s play area and a 5,000-square-meter open space that holds the city’s great cultural events.

A spectacular lookout: the ‘roof’ of ‘Las Setas’ is a tourist attraction of the first order. The path goes up to 28.5 meters high and takes the visitors to the ‘Mirador de Sevilla’, a unique site that offers the best 360º view of the city
