This action directly benefits 435 students, as well as teachers and educational personnel, who now have access to quality water in their schools. Through this initiative, we contribute to creating healthier and more suitable environments for learning.
This initiative is part of our commitment to sustainable development of the territory where we are carrying out the Recovery of the Degraded Ecosystems in the Canal del Dique project, a concession that has become a benchmark for sustainability in Colombia. Our goal is to increase the resilience of ecosystems, ensure the availability of water resources and promote the wellbeing of the communities in the area.
The equipment delivered incorporates water purification technology capable of removing water turbidity and retaining 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and parasites. Each unit can produce up to 25 liters of water every two hours, does not require an electrical connection and can be filled manually, a characteristic that is especially valuable in rural areas with limited access to basic services.
Beyond the technical solution, this initiative reflects our approach to infrastructure. We believe that projects generate real value when they improve peoplE's lives. That is why we combine environmental restoration with actions that contribute to well-being, education and sustainable development in the region.
