As winter arrives in Spain, so do frosts and snowfalls, weather conditions that make driving difficult. To assure road safety, our team at the Arlanzón Highway P3 (Burgos, Spain) has put their winter plan into action in collaboration with Sacyr Maintenance.
For this purpose, we have 20 snowplows distributed across four parking lots throughout the 150 km that make up the highway. More than two million liters of brine and 2,000 tons of salt will be also necessary to ensure winter road management. These will prevent ice from forming and snow from accumulating on the roadway.
