Pirámides - Tulancingo - Pachuca Highway

This project means a lot to us because it is our first PPP project in Mexico. The contract includes the rehabilitation and conservation of the 183 km road, with 91.5 km for each way. It comprises the rehabilitation and conservation of the two sections of the Federal Highway 130 and 132, located in the States of Mexico and Hidalgo.

The innovative nature of Sacyr Concesiones has promoted the development of new high-tech processes and materials, which reinforce our sustainability ideals based on a circular economy. A great example is the use of RAR-X mixtures: a high-tech product made out of powdered end-of-life tires, pre-treated with bitumen and other additives, that enhance the characteristics of the mixtures by providing a better performance against reflection and propagation of cracks or better fatigue resistance, among other benefits.

In addition to this asset, we have another PPP in Mexico, the Tláhuac Hospital, which is located in Mexico City and has 250 beds.
